About Us
Hi! My name is Harry, the owner and founder of Duke’s Pet Care, a nature-focused pet care group named after my family’s pug, Duke. We’re dedicated to providing pets with an opportunity to explore, play, and enjoy the great outdoors the Green Mountain State has to offer.
For as long as I can remember, my family, friends, and I have loved taking our pets on adventures throughout the year. Fall hikes to enjoy the foliage, summer trail runs followed by a dip in Lake Champlain, muddy walks in the spring as Vermont’s lush beauty returns, and winter snowshoeing at Shelburne Farms before warming up by a backyard bonfire. Being outside with our furry family members has always been an important part of my life.
After finishing my undergraduate degree in the Spring of 2023, I moved back home to Vermont. Soon after, I found a part-time job and began taking on pet-sitting jobs on the side. I quickly fell in love with taking my furry ‘clients’ on little day trips across the state. It provided me with an opportunity to do something I love: going on micro adventures, getting active, exploring new places, and enjoying the natural beauty my home has to offer. For the last three years, I have continued doing so a few times each month, but as of April 2026, I decided to take the next step and build a team to care for more pets and spend even more time outside.
When I’m not working with pets or in my full-time job, you can find me running and biking along the bike path, hitting the rink with my friends in our adult ice hockey league, and traveling to new places with friends and family.
